Twenty years ago, Jonath Jackson became a member of the DAPCPA team. I would like to take a moment and thank him for everything he has done to help build this firm.
When he started, he had just graduated from Chadron State College and DAPCPA was David A. Pope, CPA PC. Our office was in the old, dilapidated newspaper building on 17th Street in Cheyenne and every morning when we would come to work, there would be about a quarter of an inch of dust on all of our equipment because of the antiquated HVAC system. For three years, we were the cliche of "In the winter you freeze and the summer you fry."
In spite of the accommodations, Jonath stayed with us, grew in the profession and grew his reputation within the community. In 2007 he was made a shareholder and has lived through all of the firms's ups and downs. He has seen the growth from that small three-office suite to a group of firms that encompasses two locations in Cheyenne, two locations in Colorado and a location in Riverton, Wyoming. Jonath's history has pretty much been the history of the firm itself.
Jonath's friendship, steady leadership, goodwill and humor have helped knit this firm into what it is today and we are all truly grateful. He has truly become family and we cannot imagine not having him be part of our lives.
Thank you, Jonath, for your twenty years of service, your dedication and your friendship. It has been an honor to watch you succeed.
